Paul Newman. Twice married, but got it right the second time. He was married to Joanne Woodward for fifty years, until his death. How rare a feat these days. He was once asked about infidelty and was quoted as saying, "Why go out for hamburger, when you have steak at home?" A truly wonderful man. An icon that all men should look up to and stive to emulate.
Patrick Wilson.AHHH. The modern day Paul Newman. Is it just me or is there a very similar resemblance to these two men? Same deep, pensive eyes. The look that they are wiser beyond their years.
Soon to be a big star, but my love affair started with him in the movie Little Children, based on the novel with the same name. And then again in the movie Purple Violets. These are two of my favorites, and I wonder if he isn't the reason. Both wonderful stories and the perfect man to be cast in them. Married to an actress since 2005, with one child, perhaps he can make it to fifty years, or even then some.
